Biography

Ranjit Singh Shubh is a British born Asian actor from east London, England. Being born and brought up in a traditional Sikh family, Shubh's passion for acting all began from his early childhood, which led him to six years of training and studying many forms of Theatre performance, under Craig Jones, a professional teacher and master of Drama and Theatre Studies.

In late 2008 Shubh further expanded his training when he graduated from the "Actor Prepares Course" in London, headed by Bollywood film veteran Anupam Kher. He has also been trained by Hilary Wood from "RADA" (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) and has been vocally trained in Hindi and Urdu by award winning BBC Radio broadcaster Pervaiz Alam, Director of "India-EU Film Initiative". Shubh has been part of several creative projects and has performed at many prestigious venues including one of the worlds leading and most famous entertainment stages, "The Royal Albert Hall" and has a number of film and television roles under his belt including a part alongside British actor Art Malik in the critically acclaimed "Ghosted". He has trained in the Film, Television and the Theatre medium and his portrayals of diverse characters showcase his ease to perform in the English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi language, all of which he can speak fluently.

Shubh is considered by many as an extremely dedicated, passionate, professional and talented actor. He has been praised for his immensely intense and expressive performances as well as being acclaimed for his exceptional skill in improvisation.

Shubh's ambition in life is to perfect his craft as an actor through important experiences in an attempt to assemble an illustrious career as a respected artist within the world of acting. He thrives to revolutionise a new kind of actor to the world of cinema, theatre and television, opening the flood gates for more unconventional actors such as traditional Sikh males.
